create pull shape folder on mac os

I can't seem to create pull files on Mac osx. The folder is read only and it wont allow me to change that in the normal way. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?

Have you moved Alchemy into your Applications folder (or wherever u prefer)? As long as it's still a disk image, which it unzips as, you cannot make any changes to folder content.
