Saving and exporting images

Postby Donmatus on Fri, 08 Jan 2010 20:21:39 GMT

Why does my image not look as sharp when i export or save my pdf? it turns more transparent i think. And why when i hit save page does my art change things become faded and some details disappear?

Can you post some screen shots, and the original PDF please.
Also, as of 008 you can try saving to the SVG format which is also vector.

Here's the last pdf that has basically all the nice hard edge details i created very washed out and more transparent than what i created.

Also Do you know why when i hit save page it removes some of my detail i had drawn. I had to create the finishing touches of this character over and over again untill i gave up..

Thanks, do you have a screen capture of what it should look like?

Do you mean, the detail is lost in the PDF, or the detail disappears from the screen inside Alchemy?

Well I don't have a screen capture sorry, But for example. the lighter colour on top of the samurai's armour had harder edges and was much brighter before I exported it.

Yes the details disappeared right in alchemy after i hit save page. I have a sneaking suspicion these problems are related to the background image i put into alchemy I could be wrong.
Because i created this guy after and had no problems. I'l continue to experiment with the program next week when i get back to work. ;)

First off, thanks for the great program. I find myself using it frequently.

I am having the same transparency problem as Donmatus. It also occurs when saving in SVG format. Hopefully the problem can be fixed.

Thanks again for all of the hard work.
