big thanks for the feedback =) im glad you like em!

i love the edgy SPEED SHAPES much. i use a 60% opacity and switch to white to use it as an eraser. the GRADIENT tool is very nice as well! i kinda figured how to shade with it
here is the result. its all done in alchemy (well i added a bit of sharpen filter to it in photoshop)

here is a piece i created with an alchemy silhouette as a base . you can see it in the corner

here are some more rough ones!

Dude you are a bad ass painter. Your mech stuff is sooo cool! Thanks for the tutorials/wips and the settings info. REALLY helpful.
I have been trying to figure out how to erase forever! That was priceless info. I can't believe I didn't think of that :) haha.
I have 2 more questions. 1) How do you choose your light source? Do you just go by inspiration ?
2) Do you have a set of custom PS brushes you use regularly?
Any chance you could share what those are ?

Just Awesome stuff man!Love the DA gallery too. Really great work.

Awesome results ! A very interesting approach of mecanic design. A very good start for 3d Artworks.

@Orange
ill try hard thx!

@OBSOL33T
hey. big thanks for the flattery ^_^ i got the same nickname at dA http://www.dasadam.deviantart.com/

@animonster
sorry for that late reply...i just hope it will reach you ^^;
1) i choose the lightsource by sketching out a background first and setting in my characters. if i just doodle without BG it simply happens just like that =) normally i just choose a homogene lightsource. you can never go wrong with that =)
2) Normally i just use the round brush and an edgy one with pressure sensivity. but recently ive been trying out some custom ones and found it very enjoyable to work with.
here is a link! http://concept-on-mac.deviantart.com/ar ... -124754901
i thought about doing my own and i really will do that cause i figured out for myself what i like and what asthetics i want to achieve. lets see how long it will take to gather some :D
big thanks for the interest! appreciated

@OtreB

i was quite busy the last weeks! heres something i did with my friends's alchemy silhouette . its fun to trade em =)

What......the?!!?

Dude! These are incredible!!!! Seriously Man, you could make some nice, quick $$ if you put together a DVD on your process. That aside, it prolly doesn't make a difference, but do you finish your pieces in Photoshop?

Again, seriously brilliant work and looking forward to more!

Continued success!!
