A few sketches

Postby Donna on Thu, 17 Jul 2008 18:34:43 GMT

Hey, all :) Here are some quick sketches I did. I'm not happy with any of them, but then again, I had no goal whatsoever - I just messed around to get the feel of the program and later sketched over Photoshop. Nevertheless, I love Alchemy, and I can't wait to experiment some more :B

Okay, another one - something I just found out.

Now, I usually use Alchemy for that boom, wow, unexpected! factor. But I decided to give it a go during my daily gesture/anatomy exercise (I suck, I know, but that's why I'm exercising XD) and... wow, just wow. It takes a while to get used to sketching that way, but it's insanely fun - something like drawing with lines and shapes at the same time.

Beware, long image is long.

I'm done spamming for today. Really!

Thank you :) I've still got a long way to go!

I find it funny how you can see in the first ones that I had absolutely NO idea what was going on, haha. But the lack of control is what I love in Alchemy.

I love the colours and shapes in first 6 images, and the anatomy sketches are quite interesting too! Thanks for sharing your experiments :)

Good punch on the anatomy sketches!
What parameters did you use? (if you remember them)
