Thanks guys. Right now doing full scenes is one of the areas I struggle with the most. I've been thinking that I should get into making comics again to help with that. Doing more roughs like those should help me a lot with lighting and giving things more interesting silouhettes.

I tried doing some space-ship sketching today, some more monsters, a character test, and finally started messing around with the gradient tool.

Thanks, samserious. I don't think i'm nearly as good as some of the other guys here, but Alchemy has definitely helped me improve my overall skills and has helped me get used to thumbnailing.

It's been a few months since I last posted - more recently I've been trying to recreate the techniques I've been working with in alchemy in my pen and ink workflow. Here are some sketches I did tonight:

I've just had a look through this thread and come away very inspired. I admire you skill and imagination. Your subjects are fascinating and the way you use this tool to create them is deftly handled. Thanks for sharing your work here. :D
