I've noticed that alchemy can quickly become bogged down depending on the tools used
Since an active merging of shapes that are the same color and transparency may not be possible, having a button to calculate this
Obscured shapes, shapes are aren't affecting the image we see could be removed (somewhat like the limit affect) this would also free memory and speed performance. Since alchemy can neither undo or edit/move shapes by design, it really makes sense to remove these shapes
For transparent shapes (ones with a fill value) could be removed if the change in color or shade is less than x amount.
