Some ideas?

Postby tehmeh on Fri, 03 Apr 2009 20:55:34 GMT

It would be really nice if the pull shapes feature didn't pull just one path per brushstroke but whole objects, so we could pull designs from pdfs like how Andrew Jones does in Painter

I understand colour is being addressed, but it would be nice to have a shortcut key to the eyedropper, and when choosing the colour for the colour switcher effect it would be great to be able to eyedrop then! Another colour thing that would be nice is palettes - saving and loading, randomising palettes with kuler API like in illustrator etc

Thanks!

Have a look here:

eldritch48 seems to have managed this with inkscape - see the bones pdf that s/he posted here: talk/topic92-30.html#p828

The shortcut to start the eye dropper has been implemented in 007 - thanks for the tip.

I'm seconding the need to be able to add a shortcut on the keyboard for the colour picker. That was something else I really missed as well.
