First i would like to say "Hello there" :D I am working with Al.chemy for some months now and i really like it.

Something i always missed was the option to Zoom in and work closer on my projects. Especially because Al.chemy
is Vector-based it would give the opportunity to create really detailed and awesome stuff ;) I know Al.chemy has been
made to be a programme to create fast sketches, but i am sure it has potential far beyond doing fast sketches.

Even the option to zoom in 2X would give everyone the chance to put even more sharp detail in the work.

:) Greeting,

I'd also like a zoom feature.

Pan'd be nice too, but with infinitely powerful zoom I could get the same benefit as panning, so, zoom would be more useful fer me.

I'm really starting to pull for zoom and pan functionality. I almost go to do the zoom 'shortcut' but then I remember Alchemy doesn't have one. >.<

I definately feel the need for a zoom fucntion - but for one principal more than any other.

I utilise a widescreen laptop for all my design work - partially due to the practicality of being able to take it around from client to client, and partially due to cost.

The fact is, widescreen displays are very common - mostly due to so many people buyin laptops etc these days. Sadly, on such a screen ratio, implementing 'portrait' images in Alchemy is somewhat impractical unless I want to draw from a 'side on' perspective. Simply adding a zoom will allow me (and everyone else) to draw portrait - initially as a 'thumbnail', and then zoom in to apply further detail without squinting too much.
It only needs to be basic - 50%, 100%, 200%, 400% zoom for instance would be more than satisfactory. i don't want to lose the organic and randomised nature fo the program, but this basic addition would improve its user friendliness by and obscene amount!

Wonderful software! I just tend to run out of space on my screen... :(

+1 for adding pan and zoom, so many times whilst using alchemy I've hit the edge of the canvas and then felt sad that I was limited by the rectangle that is my monitor.

Hi there!

I´ve just spent my first hour on alchemy and can allready tell it`s goina be part of my future.
Great source of inspiration.

I repeatedly found myself hitting the spacebar trying to get the hand-icon to scroll up or down the canvas as I`m used to do in every adobe-programm.

+1 for zoom!

;)
