Can't set apps for switch vector / bitmap

Hello there, first of all a big THANK YOU for such a wonderful software

Now to the little problem I'm experiencing : it seems I can't set the applications for both vector and bitmap switch; I chose Xara Xtreme for first one and Photoshop for second one, but when I click on a "switch to" option, Adobe Acrobat gets open in first case, and my image viewer (faststone) in second case. It looks like the operating system associations are overriding alchemy ones. I'm on Vista Home Premium and I tried running Alchemy in administrator mode, but no luck. Is there an ini file or some place where I can manually set the paths, maybe?

This is definitely a bug, I managed to get it working correctly just now.
It will be fixed in the next release. For now, the other option is to change your file associations.

Yes, I too am having this problem, running under Windows XP Pro. Neither the vector or raster prog's that I have set will open up.

I'm not sure how we can set the file extensions to open up the respective prog's since when using Alchemy you don't actually save a file before switching to the app you want... you just go to it from within Alchemy of course...

Looking forward to the next release...
