New Module - Rotate

Postby Alex Vostrov on Sat, 27 Feb 2010 22:51:48 GMT

I've made a new module that reflects everything that you draw through a point. It doesn't work with all of the tools, but you can make some interesting shapes with it.

Cool! It works great!

It is nice how you can change the reflection count and still have everything reflect nicely in. Possibly a good candidate for some randomization ;)
I noticed a small bug with the color switcher, but the source you posted was actually the compiled .class files.
Do you know what other modules it doesn't work with?

Fun times :)

Whoops; I fixed the source attachment.

Here are the tools that it doesn't work with yet. Probably due to me gutting a lot of code that mirror had.

Pull Shapes
Splatter Shapes
Median Shapes

Hey, thanks for the module! I started working on the exact same thing myself, but thankfully didn't use too much time on it before finding this on the forum. It would be nice to have a "Featured user modules" or some such section on the main site, maybe on the download page too so that modules would be easier to find.

Also, it would be great to see the remaining compatibility errors fixed and this bundled into the next release of Alchemy, if one is still coming. Might get around to working on the module myself too, if I find the time, since the source is readily available.
