Regular Dev builds?

Is there any chance that there will be weekly or monthly dev builds made available (or something other than the current way they're done)? I love to test new stuff, I run unstable Inkscape, Gimp, MyPaint, and Blender for example. However, adding more libs to my system to test out svn is just not terribly appealing at this time. I'm on Linux in case you're wondering. Either way, Alchemy rocks and thanks for it!

But do you know how the builds are managed?
Is there some way to do it automatically, or is someone always preparing them and uploading them?

With Inkscape, most nightly builds are scripted and automated... I can't speak for what other projects have going on however.
