Alchemy SVN

I checked out SVN, which is running fine from netbeans 6.7.1. (The Ribbon Shapes rock btw ). But i cant run the Alchemy startscript from the generated dist-folder.I get:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException

I dont know any Java, so some help would be nice.. running alchemy from netbeans is a bit overkill for some doodles

What OS are you on?
Any particular reason you are trying to compile it rather than using the releases here?

happens on Ubuntu jaunty and karmic.

I'm having a bit of trouble actually downloading it from svn. Whenever I try to connect it asks me for the username and password. Is there one?

No username/password required to check stuff out.

The address to browse is:
http://svn.al.chemy.org/

Everything should compile straight away using Netbeans and the build.xml supplied
