From my understanding, Context Free is non-interactive.
In the sense that you make 'design grammars' in code then run it to see the result.
With Alchemy there is a delicate balance between, 'shapes being drawn' and 'drawing shapes'.
The thing I like about Levins piece, is that is obvious how the line is being produced and it really feels like the performer is making that line.
Contrast that with say, an iTunes visualiser which is completely non-interactive (from a artist perspective), but very closely tied to the sound input.
With that aside, there could be some nice stuff to learn from Context Free.
Certainly a lot of inspiration in the gallery.
