Hi Karl,

now I have sun-java 1.6 (jre) installed from debian non-free repos and seems to work fine. It seems that my problem were compatibility issues with 1.5 and, perhaps, wacom installation/detection.
You can see the whole thread in jpen related forum http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php? ... _id=753961
Anyway, it seems to me that tablet pressure hasn't effect in Alchemy, I'm right?
Cheers,
Raimon

Thanks for going through all that.
J-Pen is quite early on in development so with everyone's help it will hopefully mature into a stable package.

Right now the only thing J-Pen is used for in Alchemy is to flip the foreground/background colours when using the tablet eraser.
This will hopefully change with the next release, when we implement a pen pressure module.
