Windows 7 (professional) 64 bit bug

Postby Pocks on Tue, 06 Dec 2011 22:23:58 GMT

Hi I just downloaded the most recent version of Alchemy to my Windows 7 computer. Like it says in the pdf I simply moved the files to my programs folder. However when I try to use the program I can only use the line's drawing mode, pressure shapes, mic, etc none of the others work. If I minimize it a pop up sometimes appears saying that "the program Alchemy does not appear to be working correctly, would you like to reset it as admin?" I do but nothing changes.
I have used Alchemy on my mac and never had an issue, Im wondering wether this is a known issue with this version of windows, or if perhaps Im installing it wrong. I have tried putting the extracted folders in the programs (x86) just in case, but I dont even know what that is.
I miss using alchemy, please help

Frustrated I played around with it a bit more. It seems the issue has to do with the mic shapes. When I first opened it up the default line works, I changed the color and style and tried other forms such as pull shapes with different affects such as gradient and it works, until I click on mic shapes, then when I draw nothing appears, even when I change the tool none of them work anymore and I have to restart the program.
