008 [OSX] Simple interface doesn't launch

Hello,
I just installed 008
After changing to simple interface I got this:



And app doesn't work. Overwritten 007 launches in simple interface, but to make 008 work again I had to delete .plist file as well.
I tried to remove a java lib file you mentioned few topic earlier from package content but nothing changed. Reboot hasn't change anything too. I tried with both external display plugged in and out (I use macbook pro). So simple interface simply doesn't work I guess.

Another thing, it's not a critical bug but a funny one. Or maybe a feature
When I drag tool panel in 008 it starts to bounce all over the screen.

Couldn't find file: simple-color-picker.png seems to be the problem for both systems.
007 still runs fine with the simple interface so i was able to set it back, if you don't have a copy of 007 lying around somewhere and are using Ubuntu open ~/.java/.userPrefs/org/alchemy/core/prefs.xml
and replace

with

<entry key="Simple ToolBar" value="false"/>

The settings are stored differently on the other OSs, but I can't check where or how right now but I'd refer to the sticky post "Delete the preferences if required"-Part

If by "bouncing all over the screen" you mean it flickers between monitors when its dragged against the side of one, then i experience the same thing, too.

I just installed 008
After changing to simple interface I got this:

Another thing, it's not a critical bug but a funny one. Or maybe a feature
When I drag tool panel in 008 it starts to bounce all over the screen.

Yeah I noticed this happens when using the pen tablet, but not the mouse.
At first it was kinda funny, but sometimes it flies off screen!?! I'll look into it.

Thanks everyone for the bug posts and work arounds! Really helpful!
