Problem with whiteness

Postby Norad on Sun, 27 Dec 2009 20:48:24 GMT

I just found out, that when you use 'Type Shapes' creation mode, along with 'Colour Switcher' affection, turn 'Key Drawing' on, press 'X' (Foreground/Background), and then start to draw, alchemy changes your 'base' colour of whiteness. It can't be undone by any option, even restarting, or loading new image doesnt helps. It seems that it changes the 'base' level of program's whiteness, since when I tried to draw with pure white later, it painted the changed background colour.

The way to deal with it - make purely white image in Photoshop, Gimp etc., and use it as background image.

I'm not to sure what you mean actually.

Using the combination you mentioned, the background color will be changed with each pen stroke, as will the transparency of the foreground color.
Is this what you expect?

Well basicly yes - that's the main change. Then, first time it occured, it also changed my base 'whiteness'. When - after the bug changed the background - I tried to paint with purely white, it used the background value. But it happend only at the first time so I can't give you any aditional info or screenshots about it - right now it works properly again.

Edit - ok I tried to work around this issue abit - it basicly works with all the creation modes, as long as you use 'X' and Colour Switcher.
