CTRL+D no warning when PDF still open

i wanted to view my works but i forgot to close PDF, after CTRL+D, canvas was cleand but my work wasnt saved,maybe i need a warning or auto close PDF.
i thing auto close is better.

Hi,

When you hit Ctrl D a new page is created in the same pdf and then the canvas is cleared.
At any stage you can access the pdf - there is no OPEN > CLOSE procedure.
