Alchemy won't launch in Vista 64bit.

Greetings,
I have tried launching alchemy alpha006 in Windows Vista home Premium 64 bit, but it won't. I have tried running it in compatability mode for WindowsXP SP2, but it doesn't work either.
Java version installed: java 6, Update 12. I have tried looking up any errors in the java console, but nothing shows up or happens.

Hi,

Unfortunately I don't have Vista installed so can not investigate it here right now.
I might have to think about upgrading!

For now, I made a debug version with a popup console window that should hopefully tell me what is going on.

Download this and let me know if any errors popup there.
It will say a lot of junk about plugins starting, then end with "Number of Plugins: 18".
I imagine somewhere before that point it will throw up an error.

Now I have been testing it a bit.. if I launch it by double clicking the exe, it will work. If I make a shortcut to the desktop, it will work. Now if I try to make it launch from my ROCKET DOCK, it won't work... it tells me the modules are missing. Strange behaviour.. well at least it works...

Oddly I have heard a few people say this before, not sure if they were using ROCKET DOCK.
Now idea at all why this would happen tho...

Hey Karl... I downloaded 007, and once again.. it doesn't work here. Do you have a debug version I can try out?

It works great!, from anyway I link the executable. And with the nice new icon, it looks perfect on my rocketdock Thanks for the help Karl.
